Why do you have so few colours available?
Can't see that magic colour you loved from Instagram? That's because Obsession Yarns is a one woman show! I can't have everything available all the time, as I simply don't have capacity to do so. Preorder sales pop up pretty regularly, which is generally when you can get your hands on OY favorites, on your choice of base. Keep an eye on our social media to find out when the next one is coming, or join our email info list on the front page. If you're desperate, you can email and request a custom order (see above).
Where is my order?
First of all - check if your order contained any preorder items. If so, your whole order will be sent out once the preorder is complete. If you'd like other items sooner - you will need to purchase them in a separate order. A preorder item will be shipped out within the time stated on the item listing, unless you have been otherwise notified via email.
Care Instructions
Garments created from our yarn should be cleaned according to care instructions provided in the product desctiption to give the best colour retention and longevity. In general, it is recommended to hand wash all hand dyed yarn in tepid (room temperature) water, and a delicate woolwash. It should then be laid flat to dry.

Why are the skeins a slightly different colour?
Hand dyed yarn will have variations between skeins, dye lots and bases. Custom sweater quantity orders are available on request. It is recommended to alternate skeins when creating larger projects.
As all our yarn is hand dyed, sometimes variations can present when compared to the image on the website. The greatest care is taken to create a product up to your expectations (and usually higher), but colours can appear differently on different displays. Please allow for some slight variation.
Obsession Yarns exists to provide you with a unique and satisfying service. We are unique and so is every skein we sell.

How do I choose colours?
I am more than happy to take images of yarn pairings, or make suggestions! Get in contact here, or feel free to message me on Instagram! I love talking to my yarnies!
Can you wind my yarn into a ball?
I can do that - for a fee. Find the listing here. Ensure you add a quantity enough to cover each skein you'd like wound.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes! I always check for multiple orders, so just pop a note into your second (or third?) order to let me know you have a previous one. I'll refund you the additional shipping charge. Please do not use the local pick up option to combine your orders.
